Ill give it three because it USED to be awesome now I have to jump through some hoops and BUY the new version? What the hell happened to the old version?!?

I didnt like this last update when I updated it, it wouldnt come up on my iPod touch. The last app. worked fine until it was updated and I cant undo it. All I saw is the SAS logo and then it disappeared. Disapointed!

The 1.6 update requires an online account, login, and downloading of the book from within the app. Im glad I discovered this need before I was in a location without Internet access and needed to read the content I purchased. Forced social networking makes me less likely to promote or use this.

I was in the remote backcountry last weekend, opened the app, and it said I needed an internet connection to use. Lucky thing I wasnt in a real survival situation. Not happy.

after purchasing and downloading this app, the user is FORCED to create a login (or you could just surrender your Facebook or gmail credentials, yay!). Only THEN are you allowed to download what you have PURCHASED! This is a bait and switch total rip-off of an app used to capture personal social media info and harvest data from the user. SHAME ON THE APP MAKER! DO NOT BUY THIS TOXIC GARBAGE!

A survival app should not require Internet access. It should not have ads for something you pay for. Very disappointed with this update. Want the old version back. How do I get my money back?

Id bought this app a while ago and opened and read it a few times. Last week I was in a survival situation — stranded in a desert without cell service — and I opened this app. What do I see? "Please connect to internet for the first time use to see the content." Are you kidding me? (1) It was not my first time use, I had opened it before — I assume a recent update has caused the app to act like it was a new install, which is sloppiness on the developers part. (2) I WAS STRANDED IN A DESERT AND NEEDED HELP, and could not connect to the Internet to get past this screen! That the developers would put unnecessary DRM over survival is a refutation of this apps stated purpose. Deplorable and deserving of nothing other than complete scorn in my opinion. Im glad help came from other sources so I did not have to depend on this app.

This is a quality source of survival info. I dont appreciate the part saying to eat my pets in times of emergency (even specifying which ones to eat first), but other than that, its good.

Good app and thorough but havent been able to open it since the last update!!

Its just stuck on a loading screen

Its stuck loading after installing app. I deleted and reloaded the app a second time with the same outcome. Until this is fixed its a total waste. The developers should be ashamed and so should Apple. I guess they have forgotten quality control.

Stuck at loading screen. With that occurring, its real difficult to see this apps merit.

Please fix video, they dont play anymore or load up.

Ive never had a better app! Its so informational and easy to understand . You should definitely buy it its worth it!

If I had known I was paying $6 for the lite version, I wouldnt have bought it. Waste of money.
